For a leading government-backed investment and strategic development entity in Riyadh, the requirement was to build a fully integrated command center environment designed to support BMS (Building Management Systems) and security system monitoring, centralize visibility, improve operational control, and support real-time decision-making across multiple systems.
This was not simply about deploying displays or control rooms, but about delivering one mission-critical AV ecosystem built to support command center operations, trading floor activity, real-time visibility, control, and efficient operations.
Project Scope
Building a Centralized Command & Control Environment
The objective was to create a unified command center environment that brings BMS monitoring, security system monitoring, and operational data into one centralized view, supported by real-time visualization, centralized control systems, and integrated command center technology for better monitoring, coordination, and decision-making.
The command center needed to support:
- Real-time monitoring across multiple systems.
- Clear data visualization for faster decision-making.
- Efficient operator workflows within a mission-critical environment.
- Reliable, uninterrupted system performance.
This required a carefully designed control room solution that combines visualization, ergonomics, and system integration into one cohesive operational environment.

An Integrated Command Center Designed for Performance
MaktabiTech designed and implemented a complete audio visual systems integration and control room integration solution for the command center environment, ensuring BMS monitoring, security monitoring, visualization, and control interfaces are presented through one unified operational platform.
The implementation included:
- High-resolution video wall systems and advanced visualization platform integration enabling real-time data visualization, centralized content management, and monitoring.
- Command center consoles designed to support operator efficiency in mission-critical environments.
- Integrated AV control systems and centralized control systems, ensuring smooth interaction between displays, data sources, and control interfaces.

Trading Floor
Creating a High-Visibility Trading Floor Experience
As part of the same mission-critical environment, the trading floor was designed to support live market visibility across a large, high-impact space.
The scope included a dedicated curved ticker display system for real-time market and trading information, along with a separate curved display experience designed for sign-off events and trading win bell ceremonies. When the bell is rung, integrated sensors automatically trigger interactive visual content on the display and synchronized audio, turning the moment into a more engaging celebration experience.
A Trading Floor Built for Market Visibility and Automated Moments
MaktabiTech also delivered a complete AV solution for the trading floor, designed to support real-time market information, high-visibility content, and automated event experiences within the same operational environment.
The implementation included:
- Digital signage systems and curved LED ticker displays supporting live market information and high-visibility content across the trading floor.
- A separate curved LED display experience designed for sign-off events and trading win bell ceremonies.
- Media servers and playback components supporting reliable content distribution, synchronization, and automated event triggering.
- Sensor-based triggering and integrated audio systems that activate interactive visual content and synchronized audio when the bell is rung.
The trading floor environment was delivered in collaboration with selected AV technology partners, including Samsung, BrightSign, and Nexmosphere.

Managing Complexity in Mission-Critical Environments
Delivering this mission-critical environment required precise coordination between multiple systems, stakeholders, operational requirements, and real-time information flows.
On the command center side, the challenge was to bring together visualization platforms, video wall systems, control interfaces, and BMS and security monitoring data within one reliable and easy-to-use setup.
On the trading floor side, the challenge was to deliver real-time trading information across a large, high-visibility space while creating a separate automated experience for sign-off events and trading win ceremonies.
Through careful planning, system design, integration, and testing, the project was delivered as a stable, efficient, and user-focused operational environment built for continuous performance.
